Claims-based reporting is a complex process. PQRI information is submitted on the
1500 Claims Form. eHealth Made EASY will simplify the process. Claims-based reporting
can be used for reporting on 1 or more of 6 Measure Groups for 30 consecutive Medicare
Part B Fee-for-Service patients seen between the period January 1, 2009 and December
31, 2009.
Alternatively, the healthcare provider can report on Measure Groups for 80% or more
of the eligible Medicare Part B Fee-for-Service patients seen between July 1, 2009
and December 31, 2009 to earn a 2% bonus for the second half of 2009.
