- Our product is built on a web browser-based electronic healthcare technology platform that has been utilized in Israel since 2001. This platform has been accessed billions of times since its inception.
- The platform is fully interoperable, scalable and embodies every element that is desired for the EHR revolution in the United States, e.g., complete EMR, computerized physician order entry (CPOE), physician portal, patient portal with interactive health promoting tools, medication reconciliation, chronic disease management, personal health records (PHR) and telemedicine. All this information is available over the Internet at home, in the physicians’ office and through kiosks in all Israeli government run hospitals.
- This platform has been adapted by our group to become the nucleus of an evidence-based medicine EHR, including PQRI.
- The management of Park Avenue Medical Data Systems:
- In 2005, supplied a browser-based XML registry platform to a leading hospital in New York City to fulfill the data management component of an NIH application that resulted in the hospital being awarded a five-year, $25,000,000 grant for its General Clinical Research Center (GCRC).
- In 2001, authored a browser-based XML data registry/warehouse for Virgin Media, a company which was founded by George Blumenthal in 1993.
The data warehouse is parallel in size to all the PQRI reporting anticipated for 2009. It was built to roll-up
27 billing packages for more than 2 million customers sitting on 7 independent IT platforms containing tens of
millions of customer records. In 1992, Virgin Media became one of the first companies in the world
to offer both telephone and cable TV services; and in 2000, to offer the “triple play” of telephone, TV and cable
modem access. This company is the only cable company in Great Britain and provides services to more than 3,000,000 customers.
- In 1982-1983 was one of the 25 original FCC awardees of Cellular Telephone Licenses for the 30 largest markets in the USA.
